First, product introduction

Sulfur hexafluoride under normal conditions is a colorless, tasteless, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive inert gas, strong chemical stability, with good insulation and arc extinguishing performance, is widely used in electrical industry.

Sulfur hexafluoride gas is widely used in a series of conductivity equipment, such as power switches, closed capacitor banks, transformers, high power cables, mutual conductance sensors, lightning rods and so on. In addition, the effects of sulfur hexafluoride gas are also active in particle accelerators, X-ray, tracer analysis and non-metallic melting. Now, sulfur hexafluoride gas has become a new generation of insulating medium resistant to ultra-high pressure after gas and oil. It is used as arc extinguishing material in high voltage switch and large capacity transformer insulation material, and can also be used in particle accelerator and lightning arrester. The sulfur hexafluoride gas can be used as a refrigerant in the refrigeration industry (operating temperature between -45 and 0℃) by using its good chemical stability and non-corrosion of equipment. Sulfur hexafluoride gas has a high stopping capacity for α-particles, so it is also used in radiochemistry. It can also be used as a backsorbent. At present, sulfur hexafluoride gas is mainly used in the power industry. Sulfur hexafluoride gas (sulfur hexafluoride gas) is used in 4 types of electrical equipment as insulation and/or arc suppression; Sulphur hexafluoride circuit breakers and GIS(in this case, sulphur hexafluoride enclosed combined electrical appliances, internationally known as "GasInsulatedSwitchgear"), sulphur hexafluoride load switchgear, sulphur hexafluoride insulated transmission lines, sulphur hexafluoride transformers and sulphur hexafluoride insulated substations. Iv. Application of sulfur hexafluoride

Used as sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker, interconductance sensor, sulfur hexafluoride lightning rod arc extinguishing gas, used as magnesium aluminum alloy die casting protective gas, used as refrigerant, cooling range can be between -45℃ ~ 0℃ used as a single film optical fiber isolation layer doping in optical fiber manufacturing used as a tracer in the field of air pollution monitoring and hydrogeological detection. As an ideal electron etching gas, electron grade sulfur hexafluoride is widely used in the field of microelectronics.

5. Precautions

Sulfur hexafluoride products are non-combustible liquefied gases and should be stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. Warehouse temperature should not exceed 50℃; It should be stored separately from easy (can) combustibles and oxidants, and should not be mixed. Storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. Closed operation, local exhaust. It is recommended that operators wear a filter gas mask (half mask). Keep away from flammable and combustible materials. Prevents gas leakage into the workplace air. Light loading and unloading during handling to prevent cylinder and accessories damage. Equipped with leak emergency treatment equipment. Bottled gas products are high-pressure liquefied gas, which should be used after decompression and pressure reduction. When each bottle of gas is used to exhaust gas, the residual pressure in the bottle should be kept at 0.3MPa, and the minimum residual pressure should not be lower than 0.2MPa, and the bottle valve should be closed to ensure the quality of the gas and the safety of use. Do not expose, do not re-throw, do not impact, it is strictly prohibited to bake the gas cylinder with open fire, and it is strictly prohibited to load and unload brutally. There is a cylinder inspection time on the cylinder neck. Cylinders that do not meet the requirements should be commissioned by suppliers such as Fillier Special Gas to a qualified pressure vessel inspection unit for inspection. Do not use expired cylinders.
