After the SF6 Density micro-water online monitoring system (Winfoss-S6) micro-water monitoring unit is officially connected to the gas chamber, because the SF6 gas in the gas chamber needs to gradually reach a dynamic balance with the gas in the cavity of the newly connected equipment, the micro-water value displayed by the monitoring unit will appear a change curve of first rising and then decreasing, and slowly decrease to the micro-water value of SF6 gas in the gas chamber. Under normal circumstances, the time of dynamic balance is about 2-15 days.

If installed according to the standard installation procedure, a stable balance can be achieved within 24 hours. The installation procedure should be a standard SF6 filling procedure, that is, the monitor is first installed on the air refill port, and then the following operations are performed through the air refill port on the tee: exhaust the SF6 gas in the air chamber, blow dry the air chamber, vacuum, and fill the SF6 new gas.

(1) The length of time for the display value to reach the actual measured value is determined by the following factors: (1) the length and diameter of the connecting pipe between the tee and the air chamber. The longer the pipe, the smaller the diameter, the longer the dynamic balance time;

2, whether the monitoring unit is exposed to the air for a long time before installation, the longer the exposure time, the greater the air humidity, the longer the dynamic balance time;

3. When vacuuming, the vacuum pump and its pipeline valve leak, and the vacuuming is not carried out according to the above method and sequence, the longer the dynamic balance time;

4, tee and connection pipe have micro leakage. When the tee or pipeline micro-leakage occurs, there will be two opposite situations, that is, when the leak point is between the sensor atmosphere, the display value drops rapidly and quickly approaches the gas chamber micro-water value, or when the leak point is between the sensor and the pipeline connected to the gas chamber, the gas chamber micro-water value falls for a long time. Whether there is gas leakage can be seen from whether the density slowly decreases. When a leak occurs, the leak should be handled in a timely and correct way.
