What is the measuring principle of SF6 micrometer resistive capacitance hygrometer?
The measurement of SF6 micrometer is based on the principle that the electrical parameters of hygroscopic substances change with humidity. At present, the humidity sensitive components used mainly include alumina, carbon and ceramics, polymer films, and various inorganic chemical crystals.
These humidity sensors encounter water vapor and cause a change in reactance. By measuring the change in reactance, the humidity in the measured gas can be known. The resistance and capacitance hygrometer commonly used in power systems generally has a detection range of -60℃-0℃ (dew point), and this kind of sensor has a corresponding speed, which is especially suitable for continuous online detection in the field. Resistance-capacitance measurement of humidity is a relative humidity measurement method.
