What is the principle of SF6 purity sensor?
SF6 gas is widely used in power equipment as an insulating medium and arc extinguishing gas, especially in high-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, transformers, capacitors, arresters, fuses and so on. Leakage occurs, the equipment pressure is reduced, and the insulation capacity is reduced; Pollute and destroy the atmosphere, increase the greenhouse effect; Accumulation in the lower space, resulting in brain hypoxia, and even rapid suffocation accidents; Under the influence of partial discharge, high temperature and other factors, SF6 gas will produce high toxic decomposition such as SF4, SF2, SOF2 and so on.
The SF6 purity sensor works as follows:
Compared with single-wavelength single-beam, dual-wavelength dual-beam technology can avoid drift due to aging of the light source, sampling pool and surface contamination of the detector. The modulated monochromatic light of the specific wavelength of the reference channel does not absorb the measured gas. It produces a stable signal that varies only by external influences and is not affected by the gas being measured.
SF6 purity sensor is mainly used to measure SF6 gas purity (percentage) of SF6 and air, SF6 and N2 mixed gas.
