How to measure SF6 gas humidity more accurately?

Measuring the humidity of SF6 gas is a very important and demanding work, and incorrect measurement may lead to misjudgment and waste of rework, and even threaten the safety of operation. To accurately measure the humidity of SF6 gas, the following points should be done:

(1), measuring pipes and joints and other parts of good quality, qualified treatment, it is recommended to use stainless steel pipes, can also use polytetrafluoroethylene measurement pipes. In addition, all components should be kept clean and dry to reduce test errors.

(2), the correct selection of measuring instruments to ensure that the instrument is in good condition, in addition to the correct storage of the instrument, should be regularly checked, generally a small inspection every year.

(3) The pipe connection between SF6 gas meter and SF6 equipment should be sealed without leakage.

(4) The appropriate measurement method should be used, such as the instrument with the dew point method, it is recommended that the pressure of the sampled gas is 0.1MPa for measurement.

(5) Should be measured in good weather, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy of water vapor in the air.

(6) The ambient temperature also has a considerable impact on the humidity of the measured gas, and it is recommended that the temperature of each measurement be similar to facilitate comparison. The ambient temperature at the time of measurement is about 20℃, and indicate the test temperature in the report.

(7) The circuit breaker is generally stable for 48 hours after inflation.
