What are the basic requirements for high voltage circuit breakers?
The basic requirements for circuit breakers are as follows:
(1) It should be a good conductor in the closing state.
(2) In the closing state should have good insulation.
(3) When breaking the specified short circuit current, there should be sufficient breaking capacity and the shortest possible breaking time.
(4) When the specified short-circuit current is switched on, the contact of the circuit breaker cannot produce fusion welding in a short time.
(5) Under the technical conditions given by the manufacturer, the high-voltage circuit breaker must be able to work reliably for a long time, and has certain mechanical and electrical life requirements.
In addition, the high-voltage circuit breaker should also have the advantages of simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, small size, light weight and so on.
