How to use sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas safely?
Operation and maintenance of sulfur hexafluoride gas
1, regular inspection, the staff on duty should use SF6 gas storage equipment to detect sulfur hexafluoride gas leak detector every day for detection, if the detected leakage content exceeds the standard and should report immediately, timely treatment.
2, patrol explosion-proof film. GIS equipment equipped with explosion-proof film should be inspected regularly every day, but should not stay near the explosion-proof film. Report any anomalies immediately. If the explosion-proof film is broken, power off for treatment. The explosion-proof film should be wiped clean with gasoline or acetone. Check alarm device regularly. Every year, the pressure setting value should be tested to check whether the contacts and alarms are intact, and whether the wires are loose.
Two SF6 gas moisture measurement treatment
The water content of SF6 gas is measured by SF6 micrometer. It is generally measured once every 3 months, and reduced to once a year after stability. When the water content is found to have a significant change, it should be remeasured and analyzed. The water content of SF6 gas in the operation of the circuit breaker gas chamber shall not be greater than 3×10-4. When the water content of SF6 gas exceeds the maximum allowable value, SF6 gas can be dried and filtered by SF6 gas treatment vehicle. The air chamber with high water content should be vacuumed, replaced with dry nitrogen, and absorbed with adsorbent.
Three SF6 gas filling operation
1, the cylinder should be vacuumed before inflation to remove oil and water. Cylinders are strictly prohibited from overfilling, and weight review is carried out carefully. For liquid SF6, when the filling pressure is 7.8MPa, the filling coefficient shall not exceed 1.2kg/l.
2. GIS equipment in operation adopts small air replenishment device. The operation procedure is as follows: Connect two high-pressure hoses from the inlet and outlet of the SF6 gas processing vehicle, connect the other end of the inlet hose to the gas cylinder interface, and connect the other end of the outlet hose to the GIS gas chamber aeration port. After the connection, open the cylinder corner valve, SF6 gas from the cylinder through the high pressure hose to the inlet valve, through the pressure reducing valve, evaporator, heater, filter valve, check valve to the outlet valve, and then through the high pressure hose into the GIS gas chamber.
3, the air supply pressure should be converted to the rated value according to the ambient temperature and pressure of the outlet, and the air supply is the difference between the weight of the cylinder before and after the air supply. The water content of SF6 gas should be measured after 12 hours of replenishment.
4. When filling SF6 gas indoors, the ventilation system must be turned on, and the SF6 gas content in the air in the working area should be less than 1/1000.
Management of four cylinders
1. Check the appearance of the cylinder for defects and whether the safety accessories are complete. If in doubt, test for defects. After each inflation, the IAC510 infrared leak detector should be used to check whether there is gas leakage at the joint of the valve body and the cylinder body.
2, the new gas cylinder should be sampled (more than 30%) inspection. The SF6 gas filled should have the manufacturer's analysis report and biological test certificate, and the gas inspection certificate should be hung outside the gas cylinder.
3, the gas cylinder is not allowed to be close to the heat source, oil, etc., can not be exposed to the sun, damp, should be placed on the shelf, the sign outward.
4, when the cylinder is transported, it can be laid down, but it should prevent huge vibration. Gas cylinders should be handled lightly, and it is strictly forbidden to collide with each other. Do not slip the bottle when unloading, and do not allow dumping.
Five points for attention
Sulfur hexafluoride should be stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. The storage temperature should not exceed 50℃. It should be stored separately from easy (can) combustibles and oxidants, and should not be mixed. Storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Closed operation, local exhaust. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear a filter gas mask (half mask). Keep away from flammable and combustible materials. Prevents gas leakage into the workplace air. Avoid contact with oxidants. Light loading and unloading during handling to prevent cylinder and accessories damage. Equipped with leak emergency treatment equipment. Bottled gas products are high-pressure filled gas, which should be used after decompression and decompression. The packaged gas cylinder has a service life, and the expired gas cylinder must be sent to a department for safety inspection before it can continue to be used. When each bottle of gas is used to exhaust gas, the residual pressure in the bottle should be kept at 0.5MPa, and the minimum residual pressure should not be lower than 0.25MPa, and the bottle valve should be closed to ensure the quality of the gas and the safety of use. Bottled gas products in transportation, storage, use should be classified stacking, flammable gas and combustion gas stacking together, not near the open fire and heat sources, should be done not near the fire, do not touch oil wax, do not explode, do not throw, do not impact, is strictly prohibited in the cylinder arc or arc, is strictly prohibited rough loading and unloading.
