A: The SF6 density relay monitors the SF6 gas density by means of the gas pressure indication, so it is a pressure indicator. According to the requirements of our country's national measurement inspection, the pressure gauge belongs to the strong inspection instrument. DL/T 596 "Preventive Experimental Procedures for Power Equipment" makes corresponding provisions for regular calibration of density table, SF6 gas density monitor (including setting value) inspection, once every 1-3 years, according to the manufacturer's regulations. Check the density table with contact points. First, check the pressure indicators to meet the specified accuracy level; Second, check the precision of the monitoring value of the density table, that is, check the precision of the monitoring pressure alarm point and the pressure value of the locking point.
SF6 switch is a high voltage appliance widely used in power system, and the reliable operation of SF6 switch has become one of the most concerned issues in the power supply department. SF6 gas density relay is an important component used to monitor SF6 gas density change in SF6 switch body. Its performance directly affects the safety of SF6 switch operation. SF6 gas density relays running in the field often have inflexivity and poor contact after a period of time due to infrequent action, and some also have poor temperature compensation performance of density relays. When the ambient temperature changes, SF6 density relays often misoperate. Therefore, DL/T596-2021 "Preventive Test Procedures for Power Equipment" stipulates that each SF6 switch user should regularly check the SF6 gas density relay. From the actual operation situation, it is also very necessary to check the SF6 density relay and pressure gauge regularly in the field operation.
