SF6 density relay measured a decrease in gas density, does it mean that water also exceeds the standard?
According to the power grid operation regulations, the 126-550Kv new equipment after the operation of micro-water measurement: 3-6 months measurement, if there is no abnormality, 1-2 years detection; After the 40.5-72.5kV equipment is put into operation, it will be reinspected once a year, if there is no abnormality, it will be measured once every 2-3 years.
SF6 high voltage switching appliances are manufactured and operated due to:
SF6 new gas contains some water;
When the equipment is installed, disassembled and repaired, and the air is filled, due to the omissions in the process, there is water left in the air chamber and pipe valve;
Because the seal is not tight, when SF6 leaks outwards, it will reverse the infiltration of water.
The circuit breaker will only add moisture when it is sealed. But generally, circuit breakers will have microleaks. The specified leakage standard is no more than 1%/ year. Because when SF6 leaks outwards, the humidity in the air will reverse infiltration, after long-term operation of the circuit breaker, the water content in the air chamber will increase, and the extent of its increase can only be known after detection.
