What is the cause of SF6 circuit breaker gas leakage and how to deal with it?

1. SF6 gas leakage causes:

(1) The seal is not tight. Studies have shown that the reasons for poor sealing are as follows:

① Sealing surface fastening bolts loose. Due to poor installation quality or vibration and other reasons, the sealing surface fastening bolts may be loosened, resulting in a loose seal and air leakage.

② Sealing ring aging. Field experience shows that the aging speed of the sealing ring is faster, generally in 8-10 years will be hard aging deformation or even decay, thus losing the sealing effect. From this point of view, the maintenance cycle of SF6 circuit breaker should be shorter than the specified maintenance cycle of 15 to 20 years, and the actual maintenance cycle should be determined by the aging life of the rubber seal.

③ The processing method of the sealing surface is not suitable. After a detailed study of the machining method of the sealing surface abroad, it is considered that it is more appropriate to turn the cutting tool mark in line with the sealing line of the 0 ring. It is pointed out that the critical roughness of turning is about 25μm under experimental conditions. Considering safety factors, the roughness limit should be less than 5μm.

④ Dust falls on the secret cover. Dust with a diameter greater than 20μm will leak into the sealing surface, so measures must be taken to strictly prevent dust from falling into the sealing surface. SF6 circuit breakers should be assembled in a dustproof chamber.

(2) Weld leakage. The main reason for weld leakage is that the weld is not completely melted through, coupled with the inaccurate inspection method of the weld, so the hidden danger is brought to the scene, resulting in gas leakage.

t3) This knife can cause a rash. The surface quality of tLt knife is heavy and small, and the bag is small, especially the sealing pad at the joint is damaged, which may cause leakage.

(4) Porcelain casing is damaged. In the process of transportation and installation, due to external force, the porcelain casing may be damaged, resulting in air leakage.

In addition, the porcelain sleeve and flange bonding, poor bonding; At the connection between the porcelain sleeve and the rubber pad, the aging of the rubber pad or the position of the rubber pad is not placed correctly will also lead to air leakage.

(5) Poor product quality. In essence, leakage and moisture intrusion occur simultaneously. The quality of the product is poor, there is a small gap of SF6 gas leakage, SF6 gas will leak, and moisture will thus take advantage of it.

2. Treatment methods

(1) Detect the leak point according to the specified period and method. When the leakage point is determined, corresponding measures should be taken according to the above leakage reasons. Such as tightening bolts or replacing seals; Avoid dust intrusion, etc., overhaul if necessary.

(2) Careful welding, strict inspection. The fundamental solution to weld leakage is to adopt penetration weld. To achieve penetration of the weld, it is necessary to:

① The form of cutting must meet the requirements of relevant standards and norms;

When welding, pay special attention to the continuity of fusion welding, in the layering welding and the lot that has to stop, be sure to clean the welding standard Chartered and continue welding to ensure that there is no slag in the weld;

③ From the design point of view, the direction of the weld should be as simple and smooth as possible to improve the welding process;

The operator must have the pressure vessel welding technical grade certificate, and operate in strict accordance with standards and standardized procedures.

To improve the quality of welding seams, in addition to the above reliable and stable process basis, it must also have the correct inspection means, which is an indispensable guarantee condition. At present, one of the more thorough methods to check the intrinsic quality of welds is flaw detection. Only those who pass the inspection can be shipped to the site for installation.

(3) Replacement. Leaking pressure gauges and damaged porcelain bushings, etc., should be replaced in time.

(4) Improve product quality and strictly control the "population".
