Guodian Dadu River Monkey Yan Hydropower Station is located in Kangding County, Kangding County, upstream of the main stream of Dadu River, Kangding City, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, about 47km from Danba County, about 89km from Luding County, about 402km from Chengdu City. The gas ditch at 65km downstream of the dam site is connected with National Highway 318. The geographical location of the power station is good, and the external traffic is convenient. It is the 10th cascade power station in the 28-stage development scheme of Dadu River main stream hydropower planning. The total installed capacity of the power station is 1.7 million kW (4× 425,000 kW), after the completion of the annual power generation of 7 billion KWH, with seasonal adjustment performance, is the country and Sichuan “ The Thirteen-five years ” A major project planned for construction, the power station dam is the world's second highest concrete face rockfill dam, with a maximum dam height of 223.5 meters. The construction of the project began in October 2005, and was approved and started in November 2011. After 11 years of hard work, the project has overcome technical problems such as prominent width-to-height ratio of small arch effect and difficult construction of underground caverns with high ground stress, and achieved the goal of putting into operation and generating electricity. On November 15, 2016, the water was stored in the sluice, and the 72h trial operation was successfully completed at 21:58 on December 30, 2016. On January 1, 2017, the first unit of Monkey Rock Hydropower Station in Dadu River, Sichuan Province, invested by Guodian Dadu River Company, was officially put into commercial operation.

GB/T8905-1996 "Guidelines for Gas Management and Detection in sulfur hexafluoride Electrical Equipment" and DL 408— 1991 "Electrical Safety Work Regulations" (electrical parts of power plants and substations) and "Eighteen Major Anti-accident Measures of the State Grid Company" specifically stipulate that the distribution unit room equipped with SF6 equipment must ensure that the SF6 gas concentration is less than 1000ppm, in addition to the installation of strong ventilation devices, The oxygen meter and SF6 gas concentration detector must be installed.

SF6 gas sulfur hexafluoride alarm is an open system platform that uses Germany's advanced dual-beam infrared detection technology and electrochemical technology effectively combined with data acquisition, data analysis and processing, and communication technology. The whole system adopts modular design to facilitate engineering installation and engineering maintenance. In the case of complete transmission conditions, a monitoring center can be established relying on the network. In the remote monitoring center, environmental quantities such as temperature, humidity, oxygen content and SF6 gas leakage status can be mastered at any time in the GIS switch room of the bottom substation. Thus, it can improve the management efficiency and perfect the maintenance system of unattended substation and GIS switch room. With the database as the core, the monitoring center can not only monitor the substation and switch room environment and equipment operating status in real time, but also carry out statistics and analysis according to the previous environment and equipment operating data to provide decision-making basis for managers.
